This section should contain a profile of the company, its products/services and broad strategic aims. Typically candidates are interested in:
- - Scale of the organisation both in turnover and staff numbers
- - Scope of operations in terms of geographical spread
- - The products/services on offer
- - Some commentary about the culture of the organisation
- - The URL address for the main and all other relevant web sites
This section serves to put the role in context, and allows you to ‘sell’ your organisation.
