Sample CV
There are many ways of constructing CVs and the debate continues as to which type of CV is best, chronological or functional. We at TAPex believe that for Interim work a functional CV is the right approach – in the interim world it is all about getting the job done and hiring managers tend to be interested in transferable skills.
The CV is there to grab the reader’s attention and offer them assurance that you are the right person to ‘get the job done’.
Above all else a CV should be:
- Easy to read
- It should start with a strong profile quickly communicating your key attributes
- Highlight those skills that are important for the role to which you are applying
- Describe your background in relation to the role to be fulfilled
- Support your case with strong evidence of adding value to your past roles
